Target groups

Even though sport is healthy, unfortunately, there is always the risk of internal incidents. The most dramatic form is sudden cardiac death. Commonly, a congenital heart disease is the underlying mechanism for sudden cardiac deaths in athletes under the age of 35. In contrast, sportsmen and sportswomen over the age of 35 more often establish a coronary heart disease (calcification of the heart vessels), causing the dramatic deaths. In order to identify potential health risks in advance, a sports medicine health examination is necessary and highly recommended. This does not only apply to health-conscious amateur athletes, but also to performance-oriented amateur athletes, especially before intense exercise. In addition, we provide individual training recommendations and schedules based on the results of performance diagnostics as part of the examination. Thus, individual goals in sports can be achieved through specified and effective exercising.

When is an examination necessary?

  • If you want to improve your physical performance
  • If you are competing but have never had a sports medical examination
  • To assess the current training condition
  • To determine your individual pulse values for the training
